On numerous occasions, we have visited the island of Kauai with her in-laws. One time we chartered, a boat and captain to go to the wild Nepali coast on the north east side of the island. I love the water, but most often, I would attend to the needs of the youngest of our children, but my husband and others would be out, enjoying and experiencing what nature has to offer. This time, I, along with my oldest daughter, jumped into the water immediately Parentheses before anyone could change the plans) and took off to explore a beautiful coral reef. We were so excited to find the sea turtle. To me, it looked huge. It was truly spectacular! They are more graceful underwater than you would imagine. I love looking at this painting because it reminds me of that special day.
