Having been in Israel at the start of the war but really just going to enjoy Sukkos and family in the holy land. I found it difficult to put my art out in public platforms outside of the galleries my artworks are already in. I’d like to present Shopping in Mea Shearim. This painting depicts these Yerushalmi siblings looking with awe at the Tzadikim displayed in the shop. The Pasuk (Biblical phrase) in this painting is
״ויהין עינך רואות מוריך ״
“Your eyes will see your master or teacher.”
This was before Sukkos, you may notice all the Sukkos on the balconies above. This was also featured on the the cover of Living Jewish magazine.
