Man at the Kotel

This is a painting made from acrylic on canvas. Mixing paints with different mediums to create this effect. Depending on how you mix the chemicals you can get a cracked effect. I chose to only make the gold cracked to resemble the cracks in the wall of the Kotel itself.
After my painting was complete I wrote prayers as letters to be placed in the cracks of the wall as has been done for generations as part of Jewish tradition. I then poured resin as can be seen in the second photo. This painting has been featured in Mishpacha Magazine on March 10, 2020,

Acrylic on Wood Panel, Giclée on 1/4" Acrylic Substrate

11 X 14, 22 X 28
