Oil on canvas (original dimensions: 12” diameter circle)

When someone thinks of a tambourine in Judaism, we always think of Miriam the prophetess and her amazing foresight to have ready to dance and celebrate the Geula (salvation and redemption)! On this tambourine, I chose to paint Kever Rachel. The burial place of the “Mother of the Jewish people.” As it says in Jeremiah

She cried for her children. She is still crying for her children to come home. All this crying and pleading before God is not for naught. When the Geula does come, she will still be remembered. Get your tambourine ready! We will dance again soon!
