Jaguar on the Hunt

$1,950.00

Oil on canvas

This painting was also based on a photograph by Dr Laurence Marton taken in the Pantanal in Brazil. This Jaguar is trying so hard to take care of her young. Searching through the water she finds a Cayman (a type of alligator) and brings it back to her young.

The biblical phrase used in this painting was written by King Solomon:

“היתה כאניות סוחר ממרחק תביא לחמה ותקם בעוד לילה ותתן טרף לביתה”

“She is like a merchant’s ship, from a far she brings her sustenance, she rises while it is yet night time, and gives food to her household.” (Proverbs)

This was painted for the Uplift Magazine
