Devora, my youngest sister is someone who always brings me joy! We are different in many ways and yet similar in more ways. People always think we look alike and have the same expressions and gestures. Being her older sister, I always felt the need to look out for her. So much so, that when I speak about her, I almost always accidentally say that she’s my daughter. One day, she once expressed to me that she thought of me the same way.
Here she is in her Chasidic garb dancing with a red feathered boa. I loved the contrast and decided to paint it. I feel she radiates light, love and a true inner joy!
